Executive team
alan haynes | CEO
Alan joined All Aboard Shops in September 2012 as Head of Retail. Previously he worked for the ‘Save the Children’ charity as Retail Operations Manager overseeing and managing half of their UK charity shops. Alan has over 40 years’ experience in the retail sector where he has worked for a leading bridal & menswear hire company, a national off license chain and for the Tesco superstore chain. For the past 15 years, he has worked in charity retail and in January 2016, was appointed Chief Executive Officer of All Aboard Shops.
Alan and his wife live in Bedfordshire and have seven children and seven grandchildren between them. Alan’s hobbies include spending time with the family, motor sports, travel and supporting Southampton FC which he says is more of a challenge than a hobby most of the time. |
bernice HAYNES | Financial controller & company secretary
Bernice joined All Aboard Shops in March 2012 as the Financial Controller and in 2015 took on the role of Company Secretary.
She has experience in a wide number of sectors having worked for the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, Intel (Israel), hospitality, telecommunications, education and charity. Bernice is a qualified English/Hebrew and Hebrew/English business translator and speaks several languages fluently. Bernice has three children and four grandchildren and her hobbies include cooking, walking, music and theatre. |
suzie kostick | HR Manager
Suzie started at All Aboard as HR volunteer 5 years ago and progressed to her
present role of HR Manager and Senior Manager within a relatively short time. She has over 20 years of HR experience in both the public and private sectors including 8 years in the hospitality industry. Suzie very much enjoys the variety of HR work at All Aboard where ‘no 2 days are ever the same’. Despite never previously having had any charity retail experience, she has relished the opportunity to get involved in the business. Suzie and her husband live in North-West London. When she is not working, Suzie is kept busy with her two children and two cats, as well as enjoying cooking, going out with friends and playing Bridge. |
Daniela Petrou | Head of retail
Having never worked in Charity Retail before, Danie joined All Aboard as a volunteer in 2015 after 25 years of running her own automotive business.
Danie then worked as a shop Assistant at both our Tally Ho and East Finchley shops before moving to the Head Office team as Retail Operations Assistant in 2016. Progressing further, Danie was promoted to Assistant to the Head of Retail in 2018 and was then appointed as Head of Retail in February 2021 and is part of the Senior Management team. Danie is from an Italian background and lives in North London. In her spare time, she enjoys good food and travel. |
evelyn andresier | marketing / Comms manager & pa to ceo
Evelyn joined All Aboard in 2008 from a background working in early year’s education. Having started as an administrator, she then became the Collections Manager and now Marketing & Communications Manager. Evelyn is also PA to the CEO and part of the Management team.
Evelyn leads on cross-communal campaigns with the charities we support spanning social media, advertising, arranging donor collections, collection drives and other marketing events to raise the overall profile of All Aboard. Evelyn lives in Hertfordshire with her husband and daughter and enjoys baking, theatre, family time and is a keen Tottenham Hotspur fan! |
