In the year of the Olympic and Paralympic Games and in the year of our 25th anniversary, All Aboard will be participating in a major cross communal fundraising charity event organized by Maccabi called the Community Fun Run, and we would like you to get involved too.
You can run or walk the 1km, 5km, or 10km course and raise sponsorship money for ALL ABOARD
* Get your friends, family, colleagues & volunteers to run. All Aboard are hoping to have over 50 runners at the event
* Help out on our charity stall during the day
* Support the All Aboard runners along the route and cheer them on!
Please join us on Sunday 20th May 2012 at London Maccabi, Rowley Lane to enjoy our fabulous FREE FUN DAY for kids and families or to complete either the 1km, 5km or 10km course in order raise money for ALL ABOARD. Last year participants raised over £160,000 for the charities involved and are aiming to increase that total this year. The weather at the 2011 event was truly wonderful which of course we can't promise again. We can however promise that you and your family will have a tremendously rewarding day and meet like-minded people who are raising much-needed funds for the outstanding communal organisations involved.
ALL ABOARD will also have a Charity Stall at the event, handing out promotional goods, selling merchandise and recruiting new volunteers.
Registration is now open. You can register online at www.communityfunrun.org making sure you tick ALL ABOARD as the charity you have chosen to run for, or you can pick up a registration form at Head Office or in any of our branches.
There is a charge to run or walk in the Community Fun Run which covers the cost of administration, marketing and event t-shirts. This cost is £15 for adults and £10 for children. All Aboard will be happy to reimburse the cost for every runner raising over £50 for the charity.
